OUR MISSION

Mission Statement

SALT Performing Arts (SPA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is committed to providing live community theatre throughout the entire year, enriching workshops, dinner theatre, professional performance opportunities for people from all walks of life, summer camp programming, and community outreach. With excellence as the standard, SPA believes that the “community” is paramount in community theater and strives to foster an all-inclusive atmosphere that promotes a positive and uplifting experience for everyone.

Reaching Outside our Walls

Thanks to generous support, SALT has had the opportunity to to:
 

  • Perform 5 shows for homeless Veterans

  • Partner with Acting Antics to produce shows with performers who have All-Abilities

  • Launch our Anti-bullying Assemblies in local Elementary Schools

  • Open our Playhouse for Preschoolers in West Chester for the 2019-2020 school year

  • Offer free Community Nights for people of all ages to gather together

  • Host over 7,000 performers on our stage

  • Educate, build confidence in, and inspire over 3,500 children in our Theatre Programs through our partner program, Stagelight, earning the Daisy Award for the Best Children's Performing Arts Programs in Chester County

  • Partner with Phoenix theatre to make professional classic theatre accessible to all ages

  • Be voted BEST INTIMATE THEATRE by Main Line Today Magazine

 

We simply cannot do these things without your support.  Ticket Sales fund shows, but it's the one-time and recurring donations that enable us to keep the gears moving.  
Join us in this significant community impact by contributing to this immediate need. Each donation, no matter the size, will impact our ability to succeed in developing SALT’s initiatives and secure SALT’s future in this community we call home!  Would you consider giving just $20 a month?  (It’s only a couple of trips to Starbucks, but would make a HUGE difference to us!)
