Back to Bacharach pays tribute to the music of Burt Bacharach, one of the foremost composers of popular music in the 20th and 21st centuries, with 52 Top-40 hits to his name throughout his long career. This SALT fundraiser features classic performers (all over age 40) to bring these classic tunes to life.

Bacharach's career as songwriter, pianist, singer, and producer spanned over seven decades, writing for girl groups and 60s chanteuses, Broadway (Promises, Promises), through the pop of the 70s, movies such as Casino Royale and Arthur, and partnerships with other iconic musicians like Elvis Costello. Bacharach was still writing and producing music when he passed away in 2023 at the age of 94. His distinctive style is jazz-influenced and piano-forward, and runs the gamut of cheerful pop to melancholy reflections.
